Do you provide catering?
While we do not provide in-house catering services, we are happy to make recommendations based on your event needs. Ask for a list of suggested vendors.


Is parking available?
Yes! The American Mountaineering Center has plenty of parking to fit your event needs.


Do you provide tables and chairs?
We can provide the following rental furniture for AMC events:

200 chairs
20 classroom tables (72" X 18")
20 Five-foot rounds – Can seat 6-8 people comfortably
4 six-foot buffet tables (6' X 3")
1 eight-foot buffet table (8' X 30")

Additional tables and chairs are the responsibility of the renter. Contact us for a list of recommended vendors.


What equipment do you have available for use?
The AMC has the following equipment available for your meeting or event:

Wireless Internet, LCD Projector, Projector Screen, White Boards, Flip Chart Stands, Easels.

How far in advance do I need to book a rental?
Although rental reservations can be made at any time, we do recommend booking your space at least 3-6 months in advance. The AMC does not accept rental requests more than 12 months before the requested date.


Do I receive extra time for setting up and decorating?
Yes! We understand the importance of getting your room “just right” before your big event. Preparation and tear down time can be negotiated at the time of booking depending on your event needs.


Do I need to pay a deposit?
A 50% reservation deposit is required upon signing the contract. Final payment is due 7 days before your event date.


What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of a cancellation 7-30 days prior to the opening day of the rental, 50% of the rental charge will be retained.

Cancellations 7 or less days prior to the opening day of the rental will result in 100% of the rental charge.
